How search works:
  • Punctuation and capital letters are ignored
  • Special characters like underscores (_) are removed
  • Known synonyms are applied
  • The most relevant topics (based on weighting and matching to search terms) are listed first in search results
Topics are ranked in search results by how closely they match your search terms
  • A match on the entire phrase you typed
  • A match on part of the phrase you typed
  • A match on ALL of the terms in the phrase you typed
  • A match on ANY of the terms in the phrase you typed

Note: Matches in titles are always highly ranked.

    Health Log Analytics

    The ServiceNow® Health Log Analytics application helps prevent IT issues before your users are affected. It helps you identify the root cause of an issue by enabling you to triage related logs and analyze the raw data.

    Health Log Analytics collects raw log data streaming into your instance and structures textual data into key-value pairs. It detects meaningful patterns in the data, and when it discovers an anomaly, it sends an event to the Event Management application.

    Health Log Analytics is available in the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store.

    • Supported data inputs
    • Set up data inputs using guided setup
    • Set up data inputs manually
    • Additional data input setup tasks
    • Advanced data input configuration
    • Health Log Analytics configuration preferences
    • Configure Health Log Analytics system properties
    • Enable or disable Health Log Analytics system features
    • View and adjust the status of system health notifications
    • Add, Edit, or Delete Health Log Analytics lexical keywords
    • Reactivate Health Log Analytics muted metrics
    • Add a log correlator to identify relationships in logs
    • How Health Log Analytics generates alerts
    • Take action on a Health Log Analytics alert from the Overview tab
    • View the logs for an alert on the log viewer
    • Add a Log Analytics alert rule
    • Using log correlators to detect relationships in log data
    • Mark an alert as significant
