    IT Service Management integration with Microsoft Teams

    IT Service Management integration with Microsoft Teams extends the Now Virtual Agent integration with Microsoft Teams to enable employees to more effectively request and receive service from within Microsoft Teams.

    ServiceNow for Microsoft Teams is available for IT Service Management and HR Service Delivery and delivered via the following applications:
    • IT Service Management integration with Microsoft Teams

      Employees can create requests and interact with agents for an incident, requested item, and change request.

    • HR Service Delivery integration with Microsoft Teams

      Employees can create HR cases within Microsoft Teams and communicate with the agent to quickly resolve those cases in Microsoft Teams. For more information, visit HR Service Delivery integration with Microsoft Teams

    IT Service Management integration with Microsoft Teams and HR Service Delivery integration with Microsoft Teams applications include the following capabilities:

    • Enables employees to respond to the comments on tickets, approval requests, and changes with actionable notifications within Microsoft Teams
    • Enables employees to see pending tasks, check the status of open tickets and receive company communications via the embedded “Your Hub” dashboard
    • Provides agents the ability to initiate a Microsoft Teams chat with an employee from a ticket and then to copy the chat transcript back to the ticket as a comment.

    If you want to install both IT Service Management integration with Microsoft Teams application and HR Service Delivery integration with Microsoft Teams application, you need to configure your ServiceNow instance only once. To configure ServiceNow instance with Microsoft Teams, perform the setup tasks.
