Spend Optimization: Overall report

Navigate to Cloud Insights. Click Analytics > Spend Optimization and then click the Overall tab.

See Customizing reports for information on filtering data and customizing the view. If you have the Insights Owner role (not the Cloud Insights Admin role), only accounts that are assigned to you appear in the filters and data.

Total Cloud Spend

Spend for the last 30 days.

Top Spend by Assignment Group

Ordered list of assignment groups that spent the most over the last 30 days.

Note: Cloud Insights uses the Assignment Group value of a resource to show trends in spending. The Unassigned Resources feature identifies resources that are not associated with an assignment group so you can assign them. See Updating unassigned resources to ensure accurate governance.

Top Spend by Owner / Top Spend by Assigned To

• Users with the Cloud Insights Admin role see a Top Spend by Owner chart: The resource owners that spent the most over the last 30 days. The Cloud Insights Admin can use the Owner filter to control the data that appears on the report.
• Users with the Insights Owner role see a Top Spend by Assigned To chart: The Assigned To users that spent the most over the last 30 days. The Insights Owner can use the Assigned To filter to control the data that appears on the report.
