How search works:
  • Punctuation and capital letters are ignored
  • Special characters like underscores (_) are removed
  • Known synonyms are applied
  • The most relevant topics (based on weighting and matching to search terms) are listed first in search results
Topics are ranked in search results by how closely they match your search terms
  • A match on the entire phrase you typed
  • A match on part of the phrase you typed
  • A match on ALL of the terms in the phrase you typed
  • A match on ANY of the terms in the phrase you typed

Note: Matches in titles are always highly ranked.

    Now Mobile app for HR Service Delivery

    Enable your employees to view HR requests, request help, complete HR tasks, and more using the new Now Mobile app for HR Service Delivery.

    View HR requests

    Example of the HR ticket page showing the activity sets timeline for a lifecycle event case. Employees can view all of their HR requests by navigating to the Services tab, and tapping My Requests. Opening an HR request takes them to the HR ticket page, where they can learn more about the details of their case.
    Note: The HR ticket page is where users can view the details of an HR case. For further information on how to configure the HR ticket page for individual HR services, see now-HR ticket page.

    Request help

    Employees can submit HR requests by navigating to the Services tab and browsing the HR service catalog. They can also tap the plus icon, and then tap Create HR case to create a general inquiry HR case. For further information on how to manage the HR service catalog and catalog items, see HR service catalog management. Submit HR requests through the Now Mobile app.

    Complete HR tasks

    View HR tasks on the Now Mobile app. Employees can view and complete their HR tasks, such as signing electronic documents, uploading attachments, and watching videos. For further information on how to create HR tasks for an HR case, see Add an HR task to an HR case and Configure an HR task template.
    Employees can sign electronic documents with their typed or drawn e-signature, credentials, or as an acknowledgment. For further information on how to use e-signature with HR tasks, see HR e-signature. Example of an HR task for e-signature.

    Chat with a virtual agent

    Using HR Virtual Agent in the Now Mobile app. If enabled, employees can chat with a virtual agent. See Enable Agent Chat in Now Mobile app and HR Service Delivery Virtual Agent conversations for further information.

    Activation information

    Now Mobile for HR Service Delivery is automatically activated when you activate Case and Knowledge Management. If it is not activated, you can manually activate Now Mobile for HR.

    • Activate Now Mobile for HR Service Delivery

      You can activate the Human Resources Scoped App: Mobile plugin (com.sn_hr_mobile) if you have the admin role. This plugin includes demo data and activates related plugins if they are not already active.
