Task progress board in Agile Development 2.0 The task progress board offers a unified, interactive interface for manipulating and tracking the progress of tasks assigned to a group in a sprint cycle. The story progress board comprises of the following sections: Progress board header The header provides the following fields: Context menu icon: An icon to open the task progress board context menu. Group filter: Enables you to select the group for which you want to view the sprint. Sprint filter: Enables you to select the sprint for which you want to view the tasks. Refresh options: The icon for manually refreshing the board after a task is updated. Additional refresh options enable you to set the refresh rate for the progress board. It ensures that changes made by other group members are updated in the progress board regularly.Figure 1. Progress board refresh options Figure 2. Task progress board header Task board The task board displays: Stories: The editable story objects for the selected sprint appear in the left pane named Stories. You can edit these story objects directly with the procedures found in Manage story objects. Tasks: To the right of each story object, in the same row, are task objects related to the story. Each card in the right pane on the task board represents a task, which occupies a position in a State column. Each column in the right pane represents a state through which a task moves in the sprint. The fields and icons on the task objects help to indicate the status of a task. Figure 3.
