You can install updates to the Topic Recommendations application (com.snc.va_topic_recommender) if you have the admin role.

Before you begin

Starting with the Tokyo release, the Topic Recommendations store app is automatically installed with Virtual Agent. When using Topic Recommendations, the app checks the ServiceNow Store and notifies you when an update is available.

Role required: admin

Procedure

  1. Navigate to All > Conversational Interfaces > Virtual Agent > Topic Recommendations.
    If an update is available, a notification displays on the Topic Recommendations page.

    A notification that reads, "Topic Recommendations - New version available. Select the View update link to open the ServiceNow Store.

  2. Select View update.
    Note: Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store. For cumulative release notes information for all released apps, see the ServiceNow Store version history release notes.
  3. Follow the instructions on the ServiceNow Store website to request an update for Topic Recommendations on your instance.
