Control the content displayed in regular Virtual Agent AI Search results and Genius Cards by changing the Entity View Action Mapper (EVAM) templates for Catalog, Knowledge, and People results.

About this task

The AI Search results displayed in Virtual Agent have a standard format controlled by base system templates. You can change fields in the templates that display information in the Virtual Agent People, Catalog, and Knowledge search results or Genius cards.
Each element of the regular search result content, such as the Title, Description, or Context Separator, maps to a key that identifies the element. Use this key to locate the content to be changed.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to All > Entity View Action Mapper (EVAM) > View Templates.
  2. Select the Virtual Agent template for regular search results or the Genius template for People, Catalog, and Knowledge cards.
    For example, to change the fields displayed in Catalog search results, select the Virtual Agent Catalog Search template.
  3. In the template, edit the values for the search elements, as needed.
    For Genius cards you can add also add dynamic content.
  4. Select Update.
