Important information for upgrading Telecommunications Service Operations Management to Vancouver

The Integration Hub starter package, along with the external trigger, is included as components of the starter package in Vancouver Patch 1. The customer must use the family release Vancouver Patch 1 to get the Telecommunications API notification functionality.

New in the Vancouver release

Telecommunications API notification
Telecommunications API notification enables ServiceNow to receive the external events occurring in the customer network and responds to them in a timely manner. It enables the broadcasting of events to the external systems through platform capabilities, eliminating the need for point to point connections.

Activation information

Telecommunications API notification feature is available with activation of the Telecommunications Alarm Management Open API (sn_ind_tmf642) application. The Telecommunications Alarm Management Open API application is available in the ServiceNow Store.
