The ServiceNow® Document Services application provides a broad range of services related to document management, such as creation, maintenance, conversion, and integration with third parties such as Microsoft SharePoint. Document Services was enhanced and updated in the Vancouver release.
Document Services highlights for the Vancouver release
- Increase user collaboration and engagement.
- Increase efficiency with a faster review and approval process for publishing documents.
- Get automated notifications for document reviews and approvals.
- Create and share document links in the Document Management module.
- Integrate with Google Drive for file storage and collaboration.

- Permalinks for sharing documents in Document Management
- Collaborate and share documents with people outside your organization by generating document links and setting access permissions.
- Document review and approval in Document Management
- Send documents for review and approval, receive automated notifications for document review and approval, and track the review and approval workflow for publishing documents.
- Google Drive integration with Document Services
- Integrate with Google Drive for file and folder storage and collaboration.
Activation information
Document Services is a Now Platform feature that is active by default.
Install Multi Provider Document Services Framework by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store.
