The ServiceNow® ERP Customization Mining (ERP-CM) product enables ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) consultants and architects to identify customizations and recommend candidates for replatforming from the ERP system onto the Now Platform. ERP-CM is a new application in the Vancouver release.

ERP Customization Mining highlights for the Vancouver release

  • Scan legacy SAP systems to find customizations that meet predefined criteria for low-code apps, helping you prioritize candidates to replatform. You can then use data extracted from remote tables or the new extracted data tables as the foundation for an app built by citizen developers in App Engine Studio, UI Builder, and Flow Designer. Those products have standard features that you can leverage to look up records, display charts, and evaluate business decisions.
  • Get insights into the recommended actions needed to replatform candidates onto the Now Platform in a step-by-step approach.
  • Gain transparency into custom code to streamline ERP workflows, migrate to the cloud or SAP ECC and HANA S/4 HANA, and provide a better experience.
Note: SAP ECC and S/4 HANA are currently the only available system of record to integrate with ERP-CM.

Check the home page of ERP-CM to view a summary of legacy ERP app candidates to replatform onto the Now Platform.
Save potential candidates to replatform
Monitor ERP-CM scan results for custom applications based on customized namespaces and other criteria. Replatformed apps use the ERP system as the live data source.
Check candidate recommendations in ERP-CM
Check the recommended actions that ERP-CM suggests for easier replatforming.

Activation information

Install ERP Customization Mining by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store. The ERP Canvas app (sn_erp_integration) must also be installed.
