The ServiceNow® Clone Admin Console application provides a unified admin experience and enhanced visibility for cloning data from one instance to another. Clone Admin Console is a new application in the Vancouver release.

- A simplified clone request experience.
- A new scheduling tool to prevent timing conflicts.
- Ability to see all clone-related settings in one place.
- Enhanced visibility via a dashboard to easily view current clone activity.

Clone Admin Console features
- Clone Admin Console Clone Configurations
- Modify and create new clone configurations, including clone profiles and clone instances.
UI changes
- Clone definitions
- Create new clone definitions, including exclusions, preservers, and cleanup scripts.
- Clone status
- On the home page you will see the status of clones created via the console. If you click into an in-progress clone, you will be able to see all the settings you have picked, and the exact step at which the clone currently is. Completed clones will provide you a rollback option, and the timeframe within which you can roll back (revert) your clone. This is typically seven days (two days for sharded db’s).
Activation information
Install the Clone Admin Console by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store.
