Important information for upgrading Predictive Intelligence to Vancouver

If you are an existing Predictive Intelligence customer upgrading from Utah or below, you may see differences in behavior in the classification solution.

New in the Vancouver release

New classification solution
A new enhanced classification solution available for all customers using Predictive Intelligence can be used to identify data trends to set field values. The switch to the new solution will be triggered for existing users by the first retraining after the instance is updated to Vancouver.
Increased TF-IDF support
TF-IDF can be used with clustering solutions to improve clustering predictions
Quick start tests for Predictive Intelligence

After upgrades and deployments of new applications or integrations, run quick start tests to verify that Predictive Intelligence works as expected. If you customized Predictive Intelligence, copy the quick start tests and configure them for your customizations.

UI changes

Workflow
New solutions have the prefix "Workflow" added to the solution definition. You will be able to see both new solutions with the Workflow prefix and existing solutions in the same List of solution definitions.

Word Corpus for similarity solutions
Note: This change requires a Pro subscription.
If you are implementing Predictive Intelligence for the first time in Vancouver, a pre-trained model is used instead of the Word Corpus for new similarity solutions.

Removed in this release

  • With the new pretrained models for text encoding, a word corpus is no longer necessary when creating new classification solutions.

Activation information

Predictive Intelligence is a Now Platform feature that is active by default.
