View information about an alert on the alert's Overview tab in the Service Operations Workspace.

Before you begin

Role required: evt_mgmt_operator

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Workspace Experience > Workspaces > Service Operations Workspace.
  2. Select the List icon (List icon).
  3. Select All Alerts in the Alerts list.
  4. Select an alert.
    The alert opens in a separate tab, displaying the Overview subtab.
  5. View alert information on the Overview tab.

    Section Description
    Summary Contains a description of the selected alert, describing why it is considered an issue.
    Impact Lists the Configuration item and any services impacted by the alert.
    The Impacted Services tile includes the following subtabs:
    • Application services: The application services affected by the alert. For details on application services, see Application services.
    • Related service offerings: The service offerings connected to the application services affected by the alert.
    Application services and their related service offerings display on a many-to-many basis. That is, several service offerings can relate to one or more application services, and several application services can relate to one or more service offerings.
    Cause Lists the log properties with information contributing the alert issue, as well as probable root causes for the alert.
