The Success portal in the Hardware Asset Workspace helps you identify success goals and assign activities to track the success of your goals.

Access the Success portal by navigating to Hardware Asset Workspace > Success portal.

The Hardware asset success portal lets you view:
  • open success goals by status
  • projected success savings by status
  • past and upcoming success goals
  • projected success savings by category
  • completed success savings by category
  • completed success goals
  • projected vs actual count by category

You can also create a success goal and success activities for the created goals from the Success Portal view. For more information, see Assess performance of Hardware Asset Management.

To narrow down your results, you can filter by time period.

Email notifications are sent when the following conditions are met:
  • To a group, when a success goal is assigned to that group.
  • To an owner, when a success goal is assigned to that owner.
  • To an owner, when a success goal is marked as Pending Review.
  • To an assigned user or an assignment group, when a success activity is assigned.

Past and upcoming success goals

The open success goals in the past as well as upcoming success goals.

The following timeline is displayed:
  • No date: Open success goals with no projected start date set.
  • Before Today: Open success goals with the projected start date before today.
  • 30 days: Open success goals with the projected start date within the next 30 days.
  • 60 days: Open success goals with the projected start date within the next 31–60 days.
  • 90 days: Open success goals with the projected start date within the next 61–90 days.
Projected success savings by category

Expected savings from the success goals based on the category of the goal.

The following success goal categories are displayed:
  • Automation
  • Inventory Improvement
  • Loss Reduction
  • Normalization
  • Process Improvement
  • Vendor/Contract Negotiation
Completed success savings Actual savings from completed success goals, which means that the status is Complete.
Completed success goals Total number of completed success goals, which means that the status is Complete.
Projected vs actual count by category Comparison between the projected and actual success goals count with status as Draft, In Progress, or Pending Review.
Open activities Open success goal activities.
