- Vulnerability Response
The watchdog is used to track tables based on the conditions you specify. For example, it can be used to log details of integration run failures in Vulnerability Response.
You can choose to be notified about these failures. Based on this notification, you can plan
the remediation. The default watchdogs are:
- Integration run failed: If the integration run State is set to Complete and Substate is set to Failed, users and user groups are notified if the condition returns a count greater than 0, that is, the integration run fails.
- Long running integrations: Script to verify if the integration run is exceeding the set time. This watchdog proactively alerts you whenever there is a delay in the completion of the integration run.
- Overlapping periodic runs: Script to check the recurring integration runs that still continue to run during their upcoming occurrence. It generates a link that contains the list of these integrations runs.
Watch log
The watchdog comes with a watch log, which provides a count of the number of times the condition has been met.
Overview dashboard
Use the Overview dashboard to monitor the watchdog for the past 30 days. You can create multiple widgets to track other watchdog topics you are monitoring.
Starting with version 19.0 of Vulnerability Response, this dashboard is available in the New Experience UI.
Note: If you are on Tokyo, you can view the dashboards in the Next Experience UI but with some functional loss.
