  • The most relevant topics (based on weighting and matching to search terms) are listed first in search results
Topics are ranked in search results by how closely they match your search terms
  • A match on the entire phrase you typed
  • A match on part of the phrase you typed
  • A match on ALL of the terms in the phrase you typed
  • A match on ANY of the terms in the phrase you typed

Note: Matches in titles are always highly ranked.

Set up a custom Playbook user experience

Playbook experiences enable you to activate and customize the default Playbook user experience for your desired business process workflow within Workspace.

    Overview

Playbook provides fulfillers with a way to visualize business process workflows in a simple, task-oriented view. This workflow ensures consistent responses to commonly encountered situations. These business process workflows are designed with Process Automation Designer.

Playbooks appear in workspace when a process definition is triggered. For more information, see Process Automation Designer triggers.

To learn how fulfillers can interact with Playbook, see Interact with Playbook.

    Customize Playbook experiences

Playbook comes with a Global Playbook Experience record that defines a default Playbook configuration. You can use this record without any additional configurations. By default, this record defines a set of overrides for controlling how individual activities appear within Playbook. Activity overrides enable you to override the Playbook UI.

You can customize any of this behavior by creating a custom Playbook experience with your own configurations and activity overrides. These records will extend or, optionally, override the global Playbook experience.

It is possible to have multiple Playbooks from the same record. However, only the first process that was triggered will be displayed.

    Start here

    • Configure a Playbook user experience

Create a container for your Playbook experience. Your custom Playbook experience record defines a set of configuration records. Within a Playbook experience you can create custom configurations and activity overrides.

    • Create Playbook experience configurations

Define a custom configuration for this Playbook experience. You can control all aspects of the Playbook user experience including activity filters within the playbook, as well as assignment badges, embedded forms, and SLA timers that appear within each activity.

    • Set up playbook activity overrides

Create additional activity overrides that extend or replace overrides defined by the global Playbook experience. Playbook activity overrides enable you to override the default display behavior of individual activities within your playbook.

    • Custom Playbook actions

Customize Playbook interactions by setting up conditions that add buttons and list items. This customization enables you to submit forms, open records, and complete and skip activities across all Playbook experiences.

    • Integrate Playbook with Workspace

Integrate Playbook within the Related Items tab or the Contextual side panel in Workspace
