The ServiceNow® Employee Relations application provides tighter security for protecting privacy and sensitive information shared via Employee Relations cases. Employee Relations was enhanced and updated in the Xanadu release.
Employee Relations highlights for the Xanadu release
- For single-subject Employee Relations cases, the Subject of Allegation field in is automatically filled in with the subject's name.
- Report cases directly related to discrimination using Core UI case creation, HR Service Delivery Agent Workspace for HR Case Management, or the Anonymous Report Center portal.

New in the Xanadu release
- Create an allegation record for HR Service Delivery Employee Relations in the legacy UI or Agent Workspace

For single-subject Employee Relations cases, the Subject of Allegation field in relevant case tabs is automatically filled in with the subject's name.
- Create an HR Service Delivery Employee Relations case using the legacy UI, Create an HR Service Delivery Employee Relations case using Agent Workspace, Create an anonymous discrimination report using the Anonymous Report Center
- Create cases specifically related to discrimination using Core UI case creation HR Service Delivery Agent Workspace for HR Case Management, or the Anonymous Report Center portal.
UI changes
- Selecting the help icon from the main sidebar initiates a guided tour of Employee Relations cases.
Activation information
Employee Relations is a Now Platform feature that is available with activation of the Employee Relations plugin (com.sn_hr_employee_relations). For details, see Activate Employee Relations.
