Performance Analytics in your solutions
Platform Analytics data visualizations use Performance Analytics indicator data to show you data over time, helping you analyze your business processes and identify areas of improvement. With Platform Analytics Solutions, you can get value from Performance Analytics for your application with minimal setup. You can always create your own objects as well.
Platform Analytics Solutions provide all the configuration records required to analyze default applications. Customize these records for use in your production environment. For more information, see Configure Platform Analytics Solutions.
Required Performance Analytics entitlement
To enable a Platform Analytics solution, an entitlement to use Platform Analytics with the relevant ServiceNow product may be required. Without proper entitlement, it may not be possible to activate the package, or the package will have data range limitations. For example, to enable the Customer Service Management - Advanced Platform Analytics Solution, you must be entitled to use Performance Analytics for Customer Service Management.
Platform Analytics Solutions that don’t contain any Performance Analytics components don't need a Performance Analytics entitlement.

Without a paid Performance Analytics subscription, your use is limited to 180 days of data collection (five months for monthly indicators) and to specific indicators provided by ServiceNow, and you cannot activate Data snapshots. For unlimited access to all features, purchase a subscription to Performance Analytics.
