    Advanced Risk

    Activate the Risk Management Dependencies plugin (com.snc.grc_risk_dep). Download and activate the Risk Management plugin from the ServiceNow Store and configure this application based on the needs of your organization using Setup Assistant. This application is available as a separate subscription.

    Advanced Work Assignment

    AWA is available with activation of the com.glide.awa plugin. For details, see Activate Advanced Work Assignment.

    Agent Affinity is available with activation of the com.glide.awa.agent_affinity plugin. For details, see Activate Advanced Work Assignment.

    Agent Workspace

    Agent Workspace is a Now Platform feature that is active by default.

    Predictive Intelligence is available with Agent Assist by activating the com.snc.contextual_search, com.glide.platform_ml, and com.snc.contextual_search.ml plugins. Predictive Intelligence requires an additional, subscription fee. For details, see Activate a plugin.

    Agile Development 2.0

    Activate the Agile Development 2.0 plugin (com.snc.sdlc.agile.2.0) if you have the admin role.

    The Agile Development 1.0 plugin (com.snc.sdlc.scrum.pp) is no longer available. If you are using Agile Development 1.0, upgrade to Agile Development 2.0 for enhanced agile capabilities.

    Agile Development v2 app

    The Agile Development v2 mobile application runs on the ServiceNow® mobile platform. Install the Agile Development v2 mobile app (sn_agile_mobile) from ServiceNow Store using the admin role.

    Application Management

    Application Management is a Now Platform feature that is active by default.

    Application Portfolio Management

    Application Portfolio Management is available with activation of the Application Portfolio Management (com.snc.apm) plugin. For details, see Activate Application Portfolio ManagementActivate Application Portfolio Management.

    Assessments and Surveys

    Assessments and Surveys is a Now Platform feature that is active by default.

    Asset Management

    The Asset Management (com.snc.asset_management) plugin is active by default.

    Audit Management

    Install Audit Management by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store.

    Authentication

    Authentication is a Now Platform feature that is active by default.

    Automated Test Framework (ATF)

    Automated Test Framework is a Now Platform feature that is active by default.
    Note: By default, the system property that is used to run automated tests is disabled to prevent you from accidentally running these tests on a production system. To avoid data corruption or an outage, run tests only on development, test, and other non-production instances. See Enable or disable executing Automated Test Framework tests.

    To use the quick start tests for an application, activate the plugin that is associated with the application. See Available quick start tests by application or feature for plugin requirements.

    COVID-19 Global Health Data Set

    Install COVID-19 Global Health Data Set by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store.

    Federal customers using IL4 or FedRAMP environments will see the Safe Workplace suite applications ready and available to install on their nonproduction instances without having to make any special requests. Licenses are required to use Safe Workplace suite applications on production instances. Customers are responsible for configuring the apps to meet U.S. federal regulations and guidelines.
    Note: Now® Mobile capabilities are not currently supported in FedRamp Mod/IL2 and FedRamp/IL4 (GCC) environments. Customers running Safe Workplace applications in those environments will need to leverage web interfaces and configure email notifications instead of Now Mobile push notifications.

    Cloud Insights 1.3

    Cloud Management

    The Cloud Management (com.snc.cloud.mgmt) plugin requires a separate subscription. You must request activation from ServiceNow® personnel.

    Activate the following plugins:
    • The Domain Support- Domain Extensions Installer plugin (com.glide.domain.msp_extensions.installer), which enables you to segregate and manage cloud infrastructure and assets belonging to different tenant organizations with data separation requirements using the same instance.
    • The Service Catalog- Domain Separation plugin (glideapp.servicecatalog.domain_separation), which enables you to create separate cloud catalog items for different domains using the same instance.

    Coaching

    Coaching is available with activation of the Coaching (com.sn_coaching) plugin. For details, see Request Coaching.

    Common Service Data Model

    CMDB is a Now Platform feature that is active by default. You must activate related plugins to access the modules for specialized configuration items, such as the configuration item [cmdb_ci] class.

    Communities

    Communities is only available for customers who are licensed for Customer Service Management. To activate Communities, activate the Customer Communities plugin (com.sn_customer_communities).

    To implement knowledge harvesting, activate the Knowledge Management Service Portal plugin (com.snc.knowledge_serviceportal).

    To use the Communities dashboard, activate the Performance Analytics - Content Pack - Communities plugin (com.snc.pa.communities).

    Configuration Compliance

    Activate the Configuration Compliance Dependencies plugin (com.snc.vulc_dep). Download and install Configuration Compliance from the ServiceNow Store and configure this application based on the needs of your organization. For details, see Install and configure Configuration Compliance This application is available as a separate subscription.

    Configuration Management Database (CMDB)

    • Now Platform feature active by default — Configuration Management (CMDB) (com.snc.cmdb).
    • Now Platform feature active by default — CMDB Workspace plugin (com.cmdb-workspace).
    • Optionally, to use the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) quick start tests, activate the CMDB - ATF Tests plugin (com.snc.cmdb.atf) plugin.

    Connect Support

    Connect Support is available with the activation of the Connect Support plugin (com.glide.connect.support). For details, see Activate Connect Support.

    Contact Tracing

    Install Contact Tracing by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store.

    Customer Service Management

    Customer Service Management is available with the activation of the Customer Service plugin (com.sn_customerservice). This plugin includes demo data and activates related plugins if they are not already active.

    Starting with the Orlando release, the following plugins are activated automatically when you activate the Customer Service plugin. These plugins are no longer visible to customer administrators in the plugin list and are not intended for individual activation.
    • CSM Workspace (com.snc.agent_workspace.csm)
    • CSM Workspace – Components (com.csm_workspace_components)
    • CSM Account Hierarchy (com.snc.sn_csm_account_hierarchy)
    • Advanced Work Assignment for CSM (com.sn_csm.awa)
    • CSM Lookup and Verify (com.snc.sn_csm_lookup_verify)
    • Lookup and Verify (com.snc.sn_lookup_and_verify_config)

    Proactive Customer Service Operations is available with the activation of the Proactive Customer Service Operations (com.snc.proactive_cs_ops) plugin. For details, see Activate Proactive Customer Service Operations

    Proactive Customer Service Operations integration with Event Management is available with the activation of the Proactive Customer Service Operations with Event Management (com.snc.proactive_cs_itom) plugin.     Install the Chat Zoom Connector and Cloud Call Center for CSM applications by requesting them from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store.

    DevOps

    Install the DevOps application from ServiceNow Store applications. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store.

    Discovery

    Discovery is available with activation of the Discovery [com.snc.discovery] plugin. For details, see Request Discovery. If you're activating the Discovery plugin for the first time in the Orlando release, install the Discovery (com.snc.discovery) plugin first, then install the Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns (com.sn_itom_pattern) plugin version 1.0.52 for Cloud Discovery to work. You can then upgrade to Orlando.

    Document Viewer

    Document Viewer is active by default.

    Dynamic Translation

    Dynamic Translation is available with activation of the Dynamic Translation plugin (com.glide.dynamic_translation). For details, see Activate Dynamic Translation.

    Emergency Exposure Management

    ITOM Visibility

    ITOM Visibility is available with activation of the Discovery and Service Mapping plugins. For details, see Request Discovery and Request Service Mapping. If you're activating the Discovery plugin for the first time in the Orlando release, install the Discovery (com.snc.discovery) plugin first, then install the Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns (com.sn_itom_pattern) plugin version 1.0.52 for Cloud Discovery to work. You can then upgrade to Orlando.

    To correctly discover cloud resources on your infrastructure, install the October 2019 (1.0.53) or the latest available release of the Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns (com.sn_itom_pattern) plugin from the ServiceNow Store.

    ITSM Agent Workspace

    ITSM Agent Workspace is active by default with the ITSM workspace (com.snc.agent_workspace.itsm) plugin. For details, see List of plugins (Orlando).

    MetricBase

    MetricBase requires a separate subscription and activation by ServiceNow personnel. As part of the subscription, you can request the MetricBase demo plugin, which contains sample tables, metrics, triggers, and data to help you learn how to use MetricBase.     Mobile platform

    Depending on your device, go to the iTunes Store or the Google Play store and search for ServiceNow to download the native mobile applications. For more information, see Mobile configuration and navigation.

    Natural Language Understanding

    Natural Language Understanding is available with the activation of these plugins: the NLU Model Builder - Core [com.glide.nlu] plugin, the NLU Model Builder [com.snc.nlu_studio] plugin, the Predictive Intelligence [com.glide.platform_ml] plugin; the NLU Common Model [com.glide.nlu.model] plugin, and the NLU Model Builder – PA [com.glide.nlu.pa] plugin.     Predictive Intelligence

    The Application Diagnostics Tool plugin (com.snc.app_diagnostics_tool) is new in Orlando and is active by default with activation of the PPM Standard plugin (com.snc.financial_planning_pmo).

    Service Catalog is active by default.

      Some products and features require specific subscriptions, roles, or licenses. Other features are part of the Now Platform® and are active by default.

      • Transformer, TransformerDefinition, TransformerRuleList APIs: These APIs require the Transformation Service plugin (com.glide.transform) to be activated.
      • Predictive Intelligence API: This API requires the Predictive Intelligence plugin (com.glide.platform_ml) to be activated.
      • MLSolution, MLSolutionFactory, and MLSolutionUtil: These APIs require the Predictive Intelligence plugin (com.glide.platform_ml) to be activated.
      • ScriptableDataStream: This API requires the ServiceNow IntegrationHub Enterprise Pack Installer plugin (com.glide.hub.integrations.enterprise) to be activated.

      Advanced Risk

      Activate the Risk Management Dependencies plugin (com.snc.grc_risk_dep). Download and activate the Risk Management plugin from the ServiceNow Store and configure this application based on the needs of your organization using Setup Assistant. This application is available as a separate subscription.

      Advanced Work Assignment

      AWA is available with activation of the com.glide.awa plugin. For details, see Activate Advanced Work Assignment.

      Agent Affinity is available with activation of the com.glide.awa.agent_affinity plugin. For details, see Activate Advanced Work Assignment.

      Agent Workspace

      Agent Workspace is a Now Platform feature that is active by default.

      Predictive Intelligence is available with Agent Assist by activating the com.snc.contextual_search, com.glide.platform_ml, and com.snc.contextual_search.ml plugins. Predictive Intelligence requires an additional, subscription fee. For details, see Activate a plugin.

      Agile Development 2.0

      Activate the Agile Development 2.0 plugin (com.snc.sdlc.agile.2.0) if you have the admin role.

      The Agile Development 1.0 plugin (com.snc.sdlc.scrum.pp) is no longer available. If you are using Agile Development 1.0, upgrade to Agile Development 2.0 for enhanced agile capabilities.

      Agile Development v2 app

      The Agile Development v2 mobile application runs on the ServiceNow® mobile platform. Install the Agile Development v2 mobile app (sn_agile_mobile) from ServiceNow Store using the admin role.

      Application Management

      Application Management is a Now Platform feature that is active by default.

      Application Portfolio Management

      Application Portfolio Management is available with activation of the Application Portfolio Management (com.snc.apm) plugin. For details, see Activate Application Portfolio ManagementActivate Application Portfolio Management.

      Assessments and Surveys

      Assessments and Surveys is a Now Platform feature that is active by default.

      Asset Management

      The Asset Management (com.snc.asset_management) plugin is active by default.

      Audit Management

      Install Audit Management by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store.

      Authentication

      Authentication is a Now Platform feature that is active by default.

      Automated Test Framework (ATF)

      Automated Test Framework is a Now Platform feature that is active by default.
      Note: By default, the system property that is used to run automated tests is disabled to prevent you from accidentally running these tests on a production system. To avoid data corruption or an outage, run tests only on development, test, and other non-production instances. See Enable or disable executing Automated Test Framework tests.

      To use the quick start tests for an application, activate the plugin that is associated with the application. See Available quick start tests by application or feature for plugin requirements.

      COVID-19 Global Health Data Set

      Install COVID-19 Global Health Data Set by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store.

      Federal customers using IL4 or FedRAMP environments will see the Safe Workplace suite applications ready and available to install on their nonproduction instances without having to make any special requests. Licenses are required to use Safe Workplace suite applications on production instances. Customers are responsible for configuring the apps to meet U.S. federal regulations and guidelines.
      Note: Now® Mobile capabilities are not currently supported in FedRamp Mod/IL2 and FedRamp/IL4 (GCC) environments. Customers running Safe Workplace applications in those environments will need to leverage web interfaces and configure email notifications instead of Now Mobile push notifications.

      Cloud Insights 1.3

      Cloud Management

      The Cloud Management (com.snc.cloud.mgmt) plugin requires a separate subscription. You must request activation from ServiceNow® personnel.

      Activate the following plugins:
      • The Domain Support- Domain Extensions Installer plugin (com.glide.domain.msp_extensions.installer), which enables you to segregate and manage cloud infrastructure and assets belonging to different tenant organizations with data separation requirements using the same instance.
      • The Service Catalog- Domain Separation plugin (glideapp.servicecatalog.domain_separation), which enables you to create separate cloud catalog items for different domains using the same instance.

      Coaching

      Coaching is available with activation of the Coaching (com.sn_coaching) plugin. For details, see Request Coaching.

      Common Service Data Model

      CMDB is a Now Platform feature that is active by default. You must activate related plugins to access the modules for specialized configuration items, such as the configuration item [cmdb_ci] class.

      Communities

      Communities is only available for customers who are licensed for Customer Service Management. To activate Communities, activate the Customer Communities plugin (com.sn_customer_communities).

      To implement knowledge harvesting, activate the Knowledge Management Service Portal plugin (com.snc.knowledge_serviceportal).

      To use the Communities dashboard, activate the Performance Analytics - Content Pack - Communities plugin (com.snc.pa.communities).

      Configuration Compliance

      Activate the Configuration Compliance Dependencies plugin (com.snc.vulc_dep). Download and install Configuration Compliance from the ServiceNow Store and configure this application based on the needs of your organization. For details, see Install and configure Configuration Compliance This application is available as a separate subscription.

      Configuration Management Database (CMDB)

      • Now Platform feature active by default — Configuration Management (CMDB) (com.snc.cmdb).
      • Now Platform feature active by default — CMDB Workspace plugin (com.cmdb-workspace).
      • Optionally, to use the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) quick start tests, activate the CMDB - ATF Tests plugin (com.snc.cmdb.atf) plugin.

      Connect Support

      Connect Support is available with the activation of the Connect Support plugin (com.glide.connect.support). For details, see Activate Connect Support.

      Contact Tracing

      Currency administration is a Now Platform feature that is active by default.

      Customer Service Management

      Customer Service Management is available with the activation of the Customer Service plugin (com.sn_customerservice). This plugin includes demo data and activates related plugins if they are not already active.

      Starting with the Orlando release, the following plugins are activated automatically when you activate the Customer Service plugin. These plugins are no longer visible to customer administrators in the plugin list and are not intended for individual activation.
      • CSM Workspace (com.snc.agent_workspace.csm)
      • CSM Workspace – Components (com.csm_workspace_components)
      • CSM Account Hierarchy (com.snc.sn_csm_account_hierarchy)
      • Advanced Work Assignment for CSM (com.sn_csm.awa)
      • CSM Lookup and Verify (com.snc.sn_csm_lookup_verify)
      • Lookup and Verify (com.snc.sn_lookup_and_verify_config)

      Proactive Customer Service Operations is available with the activation of the Proactive Customer Service Operations (com.snc.proactive_cs_ops) plugin. For details, see Activate Proactive Customer Service Operations

      Proactive Customer Service Operations integration with Event Management is available with the activation of the Proactive Customer Service Operations with Event Management (com.snc.proactive_cs_itom) plugin.       Install the Chat Zoom Connector and Cloud Call Center for CSM applications by requesting them from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store.

      DevOps

      Install the DevOps application from ServiceNow Store applications. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store.

      Discovery

      Discovery is available with activation of the Discovery [com.snc.discovery] plugin. For details, see Request Discovery. If you're activating the Discovery plugin for the first time in the Orlando release, install the Discovery (com.snc.discovery) plugin first, then install the Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns (com.sn_itom_pattern) plugin version 1.0.52 for Cloud Discovery to work. You can then upgrade to Orlando.

      Document Viewer

      Document Viewer is active by default.

      Dynamic Translation

      Dynamic Translation is available with activation of the Dynamic Translation plugin (com.glide.dynamic_translation). For details, see Activate Dynamic Translation.

      Emergency Exposure Management
