VIDEOVideo describing the Emergency Response Management apps and how they work
together
Emergency Response Management applications include:
Emergency Outreach
Stay connected with users via email or mobile push notifications. Share important
information regarding emergency and safety measures, and ask users to report their
status and location. With the installation of Employee Readiness Surveys , you will use Emergency Outreach to send a survey link to help you evaluate whether users are ready to return to the
workplace.
Emergency Self Report
Enable your users to report their health status. If users report they are going into
quarantine, a workflow helps them safely return to work when ready. Functions such as HR
can also be alerted.
Emergency Exposure Management
Identify users who might have been exposed to an infectious disease by analyzing an
affected user's meetings, locations, shifts and reservations, and badge scans.
Emergency Response Operations
Initially created by the Washington State Department of Health, the Emergency Response Operations application was enhanced by ServiceNow engineering. The application helps organizations plan and
coordinate emergency responses. It supports the operational processes of emergency
response and preparedness at the state and local government level. Government agencies
can use this application to optimize resources and staffing in critical locations.
Emergency Response Management for Now
Mobile
Enable your users who use the Now Mobile app to respond to Emergency Outreach push messages and also self-report their health
status.
Use the
Emergency Response Management applications together to automate workflows
for sharing information with users, assessing the impact on your team, and responding to the
emergency event.

Emergency Response Management for federal customers
Federal customers using IL4 or FedRAMP environments will see the
Emergency Response Management applications ready and available to install on their
instances without having to make any special requests. Customers are responsible for
configuring the apps to meet U.S. federal regulations and guidelines.
Note: Now® Mobile capabilities are not currently supported in FedRamp Mod/IL2
and FedRamp/IL4 (GCC) environments. Customers running Emergency Response Management applications in those environments will need to configure email push notifications
instead of Now Mobile push notifications and leverage web
interfaces, instead of having the option to use either Now Mobile or
web interfaces.
