    Finance Close Automation integration with ERPs

    ServiceNow Finance Close Automation (FCA) supports integration with your Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. FCA supports integrations with multiple ERPs.

    The integration between ServiceNow FCA and an ERP requires settings in both applications so they can function together.

    Applications required for ERP integration

    The integration requires the ServiceNow Finance – ERP Integration store application.

    Permissions and roles for ERP integration

    The following ServiceNow roles are required for integration:
    • System administrator (admin) for installation of the integration application.
    • FCA admin (sn_fcms.finance_close_admin) for defining the ERP source.
    • FCA Integration user (sn_fcms_intg.integration_user) for ERP source configurations such as web service authorization, web services for Park and Post, Reverse, and User and Role mapping.

      Add the following roles to the FCA Integration user:

      • Import_transformer
      • Soap

    MID Server requirement for ERP integration

    This integration requires an installed and configured MID Server in your ServiceNow instance to connect to the ERP server. See Installing the MID Server for details.
    Note: The MID Server integration is required only for an ERP integration using SOAP services.

      Integrate your ERP system with ServiceNow FCA instance.

    • Integration settings on FCA side

      Configure your ServiceNow FCA instance to support inbound and outbound integration with your ERP system. This integration configuration enables you to automatically post and reverse journal entries in the ERP.
