Provide guided setup for your custom application

Provide guide setup to step through the initial configuration of your custom application.

Before you begin

Create the required guided setup content record in the Guided Setup Content [gsw_content] table.
Role required: admin

Procedure

Navigate to System Definition > Table.
Filter and search for the Custom Application [sys_app] table.
Click the Show List related list.
Filter and search for your custom application.
In Guided Setup, search for the required guided setup content and select it.
Click Update.

What to do next

Publish an application to an Update Set.

Note: After the changes are published, the Configure button is displayed in the app tile only to the admins. Admins can access the information from guided setup when they configure the installed app.
