Topics are ranked in search results by how closely they match your search terms
  • A match on the entire phrase you typed
  • A match on part of the phrase you typed
  • A match on ALL of the terms in the phrase you typed
  • A match on ANY of the terms in the phrase you typed

GRC: Vendor Risk Management v10.0.2 upgrade details

If you're upgrading to GRC: Vendor Risk Management v10.0.2, be aware of this information.

When you upgrade to GRC: Vendor Risk Management v10.0.2, a new version of the Vendor Assessment Portal (GRC: Vendor Portal v10.0.2) is automatically loaded as a dependency application.

The new version, launched using [your instance URL]/svdp and the legacy version, launched using [your instance URL]/vdp, operate the same, but the new version has new features. The new /svdp version requires a minimum of New York Patch 5 (NP5). If your instance is on an earlier version, upgrade to NP5 or later and then install Vendor Risk Management. All configuration changes that you have made to your /vdp version, such as your company name, company log, and any styling changes, are automatically migrated to /svdp.

A new system property called sn_vdr_risk_asmt_vendor_portal_endpoint enables you to toggle between the two versions. The default setting is /svdp. If you disable the /svdp version, you cannot use the new features.

If you've made code changes to the /vdp portal and intend to maintain those changes going forward, be aware that the /vdp portal is scheduled to be deprecated by the end of the Rome release. Migrate your customizations to the new /svdp version as soon as possible.
