On-call scheduling

On-call scheduling provides a way to determine which member of a user group is available to complete a task, for example to find the right person to assign an incident.

On-call scheduling enables organizations to ensure that dedicated support team members are available to resolve any issues as they arise. The On-Call Scheduling application provides the ability to set up on-call schedules, rotations, and escalation policies to ensure support coverage is provided based on business needs.

On-call scheduling also helps you to determine who is the current primary contact for a task, and to escalate notifications for a group.

On-call scheduling works best with the Notify plugin as recipients can respond to assignment or acknowledgment alerts via phone call or text message.
