Log in to subscribe to topics and get notified when content changes.

Add a contact source

Configure the communications methods available to send on-call schedule notifications. For example, add email and phone contact sources.

Before you begin

Role required: admin

Procedure

  1. Navigate to On-Call Scheduling > Administration > Contact Sources.
  2. Click New to add a contact source.
  3. Fill in the form fields
    Table 1. Contact source form fields
    Name Display label for the contact source.
    Table Table that contains the contact source.
    User Field Reference field to the user table.
    Active Indicates if this contact source is active.
    Source Type Type of communication method. Valid types are email or phone number.
    Source For email, the field changes to email source and for phone number it changes to phone number source.
  4. ClickSubmit.
