    About this task

    Supported NetSuite versions
    The following Oracle NetSuite versions are supported for integration with FCA:
    • Oracle NetSuite 2019.2
    Supported ServiceNow FCA versions
    FCA New York release version onwards supports integration with the above-mentioned versions of Oracle NetSuite.

    For more information on detailed steps, see the configuration guide ServiceNow Finance Close Automation (FCA) to Oracle NetSuite Integration available with KB0792329.

    Procedure

    1. Log in to your Oracle NetSuite.
    2. Enable the following Features.
      • CREATE BUNDLES WITH SUITEBUNDLER: This feature is required to create, install, and update the Oracle NetSuite bundle.
      • SERVER SUITESCRIPT: This feature is required to run the NetSuite script.
    3. In the file cabinet, create a ServiceNow folder and three subfolders.

      The NetSuite script creates files in respective subfolders to store the journal entry creation, validation, reversal request payloads from ServiceNow. NetSuite then uses these files for further processing.

    4. In the SuiteScripts folder, create a module folder and upload the utilityModule.js file into it.
      The utitlityModule.js is a library file containing reusable functions.
    5. Set the availability of the NetSuite bundle for ServiceNow for your account.
      The NetSuite bundle is a set of objects such as custom fields, custom records, forms, and scripts required to install the ServiceNow to NetSuite integration for your account.
    6. Install the NetSuite bundle for your account.
    7. Configure Oracle NetSuite currencies for FCA.
      The NetSuite currencies are used in Journal Entry headers in FCA.
    8. Configure Oracle NetSuite subsidiaries for FCA.
      The NetSuite subsidiaries are used in Journal Entry headers in FCA.
    9. Search for ServiceNow Integration Role and share its internal id with the ServiceNow FCA team.
      When ServiceNow sends data to Oracle NetSuite, the internal id of this role is used in NLAuth authentication.
    10. Create an integration user and share credentials with the ServiceNow FCA team.
      This user's credentials are used when ServiceNow sends data to Oracle NetSuite.
    11. Get the Oracle NetSuite account ID and share it with the ServiceNow FCA team.
    12. Configure ServiceNow user credentials and web services for journal entry Park and Post, and Reversal.
    13. Enter a 16, 24, or 32-bytes string used to encrypt the password before saving in the Oracle NetSuite system.
