 Knowledge Base (KB) article images don't display in VA Chat on iOS devices All the iOS users are affected. They are unable to view the images of the KB, as they appear broken. No error or warning message is found.
  1. Log in to an instance on the Now Mobile app on an iOS device.
  2. Click the Chat option.
  3. Select 'Show me everything'.
  4. Select the '(Hot) Keyword Search' topic.
  5. Enter a KB number that has an image in it.

Expected behavior: The images should appear in the KB article on the iOS device.

Actual behavior: The images in the KB article don't display on the iOS device.

 The UI rule with the 'attachment field' condition doesn't work This is noticed behaviour in an iOS device with Mobile Agent, where only the onload trigger works but the onchange trigger doesn't. When logged on to the Agent app in an Android device, both onchange and onload triggers don't work.
  1. Log on to any instance.
  2. Create a quick action associated to a function.
  3. Create an action item mapped to an input parameter form with 2 input fields: One String field and an Attachment field.
  4. Create a Mobile UI rule that displays the String field when an image is uploaded with the below configurations:
    • Condition: image_fieldISNOTEMPTY
    • Parent table: Parameter screen
    • Parent: The input form created previously
    • Triggers: Onload, Onchange
  5. Create a Mobile UI action that sets the visibility to true on the String field that was created.
  6. Log on to the Agent app.
  7. Navigate to the input screen with the previously created fields.
  8. Notice that the Image input field isn't visible.
  9. Upload an attachment.

    The String field appears.

  10. Remove the attachment.

    The String field doesn't disappear.

 Caching data on iOS Mobile Agent no longer works Caching data doesn't work in the iOS Mobile Agent app. It works fine in Android.
  1. Log in to any San Diego or Tokyo instance.
  2. Create a simple widget.
  3. Create a function.
  4. Access the page that holds the widget.
  5. Navigate to the Agent app.
  6. Find the widget, page, and function.
  7. Navigate to 'My Work'.
  8. Open one of the incidents.

    It should redirect to the 'My Incidents' page.

  9. Click the 3 dots in the top right corner.
  10. Select Cache Testing from the options.
  11. Enter any text.
  12. Navigate back to some other page or refresh.

    The value should remain the same.

This doesn't work in iOS but works fine in Android and browsers.

 Agent Mobile Blackberry can't upload media or files to an activity stream For uploading with the camera or video, after selection, nothing happens. For files, the upload fails immediately.
  1. Install the latest Agent or Mobile Blackberry.
  2. In any instance with an activity stream, attempt to upload media from the gallery, a file from the document picker, or use the camera.

 Users are unable to scan asset tags when using the iOS Mobile Agent app Barcodes aren't recognized when trying to scan into the Asset Tag field. It isn't possible to scan the asset tag. Pointing the scanner at a valid barcode isn't recognized. Nothing happens.
  1. Connect to an instance using the Mobile Agent app.
  2. Log in.
  3. Navigate to the asset launcher.
  4. Navigate to 'Stockroom Audits'.
  5. Swipe left on any record in the list.
  6. Click the Scan button.
  7. Click the Asset Tag field.
  8. Click the icon to display the scanner.
  9. Point the camera at a valid barcode.

Expected behavior: The barcode should be recognized and populate the Asset Tag field.

Actual behavior: Nothing happens. The barcode isn't recognized.

 The ServiceNow Now Mobile app doesn't display approvals from the application in iOS The screen and URL type 'Prefetch' doesn't display data in iOS, but works correctly in Android.
  1. Log in to a Tokyo Instance.
  2. Navigate to the 'sys_sg_browser_screen' list.
  3. Create a record in sys_sg_browser_screen of the type 'Prefetch'.
  4. Use the URL (which fetches the data from the sysapproval_approver assigned to that user).
  5. Map the screen to any Apple screen.
  6. Log in to the Now Mobile app in an iOS device.
  7. Navigate to the browser screen.
  8. Notice that data isn't displayed or it throws the error: 'Invalid URL'.

Expected behavior: It should display the data as it does in Android.

Actual behavior: That data isn't displayed or it throws error: 'Invalid URL'.

 Japanese language doesn't type correctly when users open Virtual Agent (VA) with the Japanese keyboard as the mode of input This behavior doesn't happen when users open the VA chat with any other language keyboard as the default and switch to the Japanese keyboard. It only happens when users open with the Japanese keyboard as the default input mode.
  1. Click the search bar at the top of the 'Home' tab.
  2. Switch to the Japanese keyboard.
  3. Open VA Chat.
  4. Type in the text field.

Expected behavior: Characters should be marked at first and when users press た and then ^_^. Users should get だ.

Actual behavior: Characters aren't marked and when users press た and then ^_^ (bottom left). た☻ displays.
