Configure the HTML toolbar

When HTML fields are configured to use the HTML editor, follow this procedure to configure which buttons are available on the toolbar.

Before you begin

Role required: admin


  1. Navigate to System Properties > UI Properties.
  2. Locate the appropriate properties based on your version of the HMTL editor.
    TinyMCE glide.ui.html.editor.v4.toolbar.line1 and glide.ui.html.editor.v4.toolbar.line2
    htmlArea glide.ui.html.toolbar
  3. Enter or remove buttons for each toolbar as a comma-separated list without spaces.
    For the TinyMCE toolbar, use the following buttons. Use a vertical bar ("|") to add a section separator.

    The spellchecker tool is not supported in UI16 or UI15.

    For the htmlArea toolbar, use the following buttons. Use separator to add a section separator.

  4. Click Save.
