New in the Kingston release

PowerShell Probe V2
With the new version of the PowerShell probe:
  • View detailed credential information on why PowerShell credentials fail or succeed.
    Note: PowerShell probe V1 has controlled access to credential information. PowerShell probe V2 can access credential information at any time.
  • View logging information for an ECC Queue payload and Workflow Context log.
    Note: You can also view logging information with the PowerShell probe V1.
  • Have backward compatibility with Version 1 of the PowerShell probe.
With the new MID server PowerShell log property:
  • Display logging information.
    Note: Once logging is enabled, base system PowerShell scripts log information.
  • Add logging information to your developed PowerShell scripts and PowerShell activities.
    Note: Logging information is only available when property is enabled.
  • Logging is not enabled by default.

Activation information

The Orchestration plugin (com.snc.runbook_automation) is available as a subscription separate from the rest of the ServiceNow platform. To purchase a subscription, contact your ServiceNow account manager. The account manager arranges the plugin activation on your production and non-production instances, generally within a few days.
