View CI Discovery Schedule errors

From the CI schedule manager, you can view the discovery errors that occurred during a CI discovery.

Before you begin

Role required: discovery_admin


  1. Navigate to Discovery > CI schedule manager.
    The summary page for all CI schedules appears.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click the Errors section on the summary page to see the errors for all CI discovery schedules.

    • Click the CI Schedules section on the summary page to see the CI Schedules view. From there, filter the data by location, schedule, or specific discovery run, and then click Errors.

  3. Continue to drill down to the type of errors that Discovery encountered until you see the list of error messages.
  4. Click an error message to get more information about what occurred, such as the IP address of the device that Discovery attempted to access and the Discovery status record. The Discovery status also provides links to other troubleshooting items, such as the Discovery log and the ECC queue.
