Create or modify a Lifecycle Events case

HR Lifecycle Events cases contain HR activity sets that contain trigger activities.

Roles required: Lifecycle Case Writer [sn_hr_le.case_writer].

About this task

The base system provides HR services that creates lifecycle event cases:
  • Account notification
  • Request onboarding
To create or modify a Lifecycle Event case, See Work an HR case.
Onboarded employees are assigned HR client roles to access the Employee Service Center when:
  • A user with the HR Admin [sn_hr_core.admin] role creates an onboarding case through the Employee Service Center.
  • A user (typically a hiring manager) creates an onboarding case through the Employee Service Center and the Update Client Roles scheduled job runs.
Note: New hires appear in an org chart when they are onboarded and a sys_user record is created.
