Create a PDF summary for a work order

Users with the field service agent role can generate a PDF that includes a summary of the completed work.

About this task

When a work order is closed, the system generates a message with a link to the work order form, which displays the Sign & Confirm button and related link. Use this link to open the Signature Pad popup window. After the customer enters a name and electronic signature, the information is confirmed and a PDF is generated and attached to the work order.

Procedure

  1. After completing a work order, click the link in the message to open the work order form.
    You can also navigate to a work order with a state of Closed Complete or Closed Incomplete.
  2. Click the Sign & Confirm button or related link to open the Signature Pad popup window.
  3. Enter a Name and Signature.
  4. Click Accept.
    The system displays a message stating that the signature has been accepted. The signature is captured and included in the generated PDF, which is attached to the Work Order form.
