Subscribe to incident alerts

Users subscribe to incident alerts to be quickly informed about critical issues.

Any self-service user can subscribe to incident alerts, to be notified when:

  • A new incident alert is created.
  • An incident alert is resolved or closed.
  • An incident alert is canceled.
  • The Actions Taken field on an incident alert is updated.

Notifications are sent using email. If Notify is active, you can send notifications by SMS message or voicemail.

For example, a business manager does not log in to the system on daily basis, but wants to know when a new incident alert is created. The business manager can subscribe to receive notifications whenever a new incident alert is raised.
