Create a persona for the community profile

Create a persona and associate it to a role to manage which data users can modify.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_communities.admin

About this task

A persona is associated to a user role and can be mapped to specific fields for display on the community profile. The base system contains a default persona, which is not associated to a role and is used for all community users. You can create a new persona or add a role to the default persona.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Community > User Profile > Persona.
  2. Click New.
  3. Complete the Persona form.

    Field Description
    Name A name for the persona.
    Order The order, in numerical value, in which the system should evaluate the roles for the persona.
    Associated Role The role you want to associate the persona to.
  4. Click Submit.
