Create a forum

Create a forum to provide a place for users to share content, exchange notes, ask and answer questions, and so on.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_communities.admin

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Community > Administration > Forums.
  2. From the Forums list, click New.
  3. Complete the form, as appropriate.

    Field Description
    Name The name of the forum.
    Description A short description to define what the forum is.
    Parent The parent forum, if required.
    Image An image that provides a visual reference to what the forum is about.
  4. Click Submit.
    The forum is created and added to the Forums list.
