Create business units Create business units to set up the top-most segment in the IT chart of accounts. Then you can create rollup rules to have expenses roll up to these business units. Before you beginRole required: cost_transparency_admin Procedure Navigate to Cost Transparency > Chart of Accounts > Business Units. Click New. Fill out the fields on the form (see table). Company The company, if any, associated with this business unit. You can choose any company, including those that do not have the Vendor field selected. Description A description of the business unit. Related List Departments Departments that comprise this business unit. Add as many departments as necessary.
