Set up bubble chart for application strategy recommendation

A bubble chart is a graph with three axes that plots the assessment results for multiple applications. Use bubble charts to determine the relative standing of applications in selected categories, with an emphasis on one category.

About this task

You can review the existing application bubble charts and configure them to align with your business records. To modify an application bubble chart, click the application bubble chart name. To create an application bubble chart, click New.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Application Portfolio > Administration > Bubble chart.
  2. In the Application Bubble Charts list view, click New.

    Field Description
    Name Name of the application bubble chart
    Top left label Select an application strategy from the choice list
    Top right label Select an application strategy
    Bottom right label Select an application strategy
    Bottom left label Select an application strategy
    Top left color Enter a color choice for the top left quadrant bubble
    Top right color Enter a color choice for the top right quadrant bubble
    Bottom right color Enter a color choice for the bottom right quadrant bubble
    Bottom left color Enter a color choice for the bottom left quadrant bubble
    Quadrant label color Enter a color for the label
    X Indicator

    Select an application indicator from the choice list.

    You can also create an application indicator by clicking the New button in the Application Indicators form.

    Y Indicator Select an application indicator from the choice list
    Z Indicator Select an application indicator from the choice list
    X Label

    Enter a label for the X axis.

    For example, if your X Indicator is CSAT, then you can label it as Customer Satisfaction Score.

    Y Label Enter a label for the Y axis
    Z Label Enter a label for the Z axis
  3. Click Submit.
