Add business process or capabilities

A business process is a method of related tasks performed to accomplish a specific goal. The business capabilities of a business application can be modeled as a business process.

About this task

Business process hierarchy is an ordered grouping of business processes in a hierarchical fashion. For example, L0 processes, L1 processes, and so on.

Based on the requirements, business capability hierarchy can be modeled using the business process relationship. You can edit the business process records using the CI relationships to create a business process hierarchy.

Create business processes or structured activities to produce a specific service or product.


  1. Navigate to Application Portfolio > Administration > Business Processes.
  2. Fill the Business Process new record form with the following information:
    Table 1. Business process form fields
    Field Value
    Name Unique name of the business process.
    Category Business process.
    Status Status of the business application.
  3. Click Update to save the record.
  4. Click Delete to delete a record.
