Configure MID Server for SNMP

MID servers support all SNMP protocol versions by default. Use this procedure if you want a MID Server to only support a specific version of SNMP.

About this task

You can also use this procedure to enable or disable SNMPv3 for other automation processes, such as Workflow.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to MID Servers > your MID Server name.
  2. In the MID Server page, click the Configuration Parameters tab.
  3. In the mid.snmp.use_snmp_v1_v2c parameter, set the value to true to enable SNMPv1/v2c packets to be sent.
    This parameter is enabled by default.
  4. In the mid.snmp.use_snmp_v3set the value to true to enable SNMPv3 packets to be sent.
    This parameter is enabled by default.
