Close security incidents or requests as spam from the list

A user with any security role can mark one or more open security incidents or requests as spam from the list.

Before you begin

Role required: sn.si_basic or higher

Procedure

  1. From the incident or request list, click the action check boxes adjacent to the security incidents or requests you want to mark as spam.
  2. Click the Actions on selected rows choice list at the bottom of the list, and click Mark as Spam.
    For each of the selected security incidents or requests:
    • The state of each incident is changed to Cancelled.
    • The state of each request is changed to Closed.
    • The activity log under the Activities tab indicates that the security incident or request was marked as spam.
