Discovery resource utilization

Typical transactions on Windows and Unix generate various amounts of network traffic, depending on what is being discovered.

This table shows the bandwidth consumption, by operating system, for each data flow segment of a typical Discovery. Also shown is the bandwidth comparison between an initial Discovery for three-tier applications and each subsequent Discovery that does not collect hardware data. All measurements are in megabytes.
