Create a change or problem from a security incident

After you have created and saved a security incident, you can create a change (CHG) or problem (PRB) record from it.

Before you begin

Role required: sn.si_agent

Procedure

  1. Open a security incident using one of these methods.
    • Open an exiting security incident by navigating to Security Incident > Incidents > Open Security Incidents.
    • Create a new security incident by navigating to Security Incident > Incidents > Create new, fill out the form, and save the record.
  2. Right-click in the security incident's header bar and click one of the following:
    • Create change
    • Create problem
    The change or problem is created.
