Dependency Views release notes Dependency Views is the new product name for Next Generation Business Service Maps (NG-BSM) in Geneva. The following are enhancements and updates in the Geneva release. Activation information The Dependency Views module is active in all instances and includes demo data. New in the Geneva release For information about these features, see , Business Service Management, Dependency Views. Product name and navigation The new product name in Geneva is Dependency Views with a corresponding navigation of Dependency Views. Related items panel New panel at the bottom of the map with tabs and lists for each node indicator, including related business services. Indicator icons New indicator icons for related items of the CI, with corresponding new filtering options for these indicators. Changed in the Geneva release The Service View orientation option is no longer available and maps always display in the Infrastructure View. An enhanced version of the Service View option is now provided by Service Mapping. General look and feel of the map has changed. Node icons have changed in shape and color, as well as the links between the nodes. The sum of the number of incidents, problems and change requests for a CI no longer displays next to map nodes. Colors are no longer used on the map to denote related items. Instead task icons are used to display various related items. A tooltip for each indicator displays a list with the details of respective tasks, such as a list of all incidents related to a CI.
