Submit ideas

All users can submit ideas through the Service Catalog. Demand users can submit ideas through the Self-Service menu.

  1. Navigate to one of the following:
    • For all users: Self-Service > Service Catalog. Click Can We Help You? and then click Submit.
    • For demand users: Self-Service > Ideas > Create New.
  2. Type a brief description of the idea in the Title field.
  3. Describe a business justification that supports the idea in the Description field.
  4. Click Submit.
    The system creates a new idea, assigns a unique number, and adds it to the Ideas list. The new idea is created in the Submitted state.
    Note: After an idea is submitted, it cannot be modified.
