Evaluate ideas

The demand manager can evaluate an idea and then decide whether to accept the idea, defer it, or delete it from the Ideas list.

  1. Navigate to Self-Service > Ideas > All.
  2. Select an idea and click the idea number.
  3. Click one of the following buttons:
    • Update: saves any changes made to the idea form.
    • Accept: changes the idea state to Accepted and creates the associated demand record.
    • Defer: defers the idea and changes the idea state to Skipped.
    • Delete: removes the idea from the Ideas list.
    The demand manager can also select multiple ideas on the Ideas list and then select Accept, Defer, or Delete from the Actions choice list.
